Viapol Techno PONTI is a 5.5kg SBS-modified bituminous cap sheet with a black mineral finish, built for concrete bridge decks and other trafficked concrete where the waterproofing sits directly beneath asphalt.

The compound is distilled bitumen modified with high-molecular polymers, giving it cold flexibility down to -15°C so it is less likely to crack in a hard frost. The carrier is a heavy-weight non-woven polyester stabilised with longitudinal strands, which is where its very high mechanical strength comes from and why it copes with thermal shock and mechanical fatigue over the years.

It meets or exceeds UNI EN 14695 for reinforced bitumen sheets on concrete bridge decks and is approved for under-asphalt waterproofing on bridges and viaducts. Top face is dotted talc, underside is polyethylene.
