About this product
D-FLEX CLEAR is a transparent, one-component, aliphatic polyurethane liquid membrane that forms a seamless, elastic, fully bonded waterproof layer over existing tiles, timber, glass, polycarbonate and stone without removing them.
Aliphatic resins mean no yellowing or chalking under UV, and the film stays elastic. Elongation at break is over 350%, tensile strength 25 N/mm, Shore D hardness 45. It resists weather, detergents, oils and seawater, is locally repairable and holds broken glass together.
Roller-apply 2 to 3 coats at 500 to 700 g/m², 12 to 24 hours apart, at 5 to 35°C. Prime with D-FLEX Promoter (non-porous) or DESMOFLEX Epoxy Primer (porous). Walkable in 8 to 12 hours, full cure at 48 hours, final cure at 7 days. Supplied in 5L metal tins, shelf life 9 months.
